Alright, so now some confusion has been cleared up and my date of departure is different now. I was told that March 7th was my date of "assumption of duty" which I assumed was the day that I started teaching, turns out it is the day that orientation starts and the two weeks I have before I start starts. If that makes sense.
So I was assuming that I needed to be in Singapore by February 21st but it's really March 7th. This is a good thing because they said I don't get any money until March 7th and I was worried about being desitute in Singapore. So, this is good. Also I get two more weeks to get my life in order and cram in more snuggles with Alfie and Ben before I go.
So March 7th y'all.
